The 29th and 30th annual events will take place at the Orange Beach Sportsplex and will be co-hosted by the Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Sports Commission and the University of Mobile. The 2012 National Championship is scheduled for Nov. 26 – Dec. 1, with the 2013 tournament taking place Dec. 2 – 7. </p>

The public is invited to hear these prestigious athletes speak on Friday, November 25 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Orange Beach Event Center at the Wharf. There is no cost for attending the speaking engagement. 

The half-marathon attracts hundreds of avid competitors from across the Southeast and Midwest each year. It is organized by the Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Sports Commission and Team-Magic in addition to title sponsor Kaiser Realty and partially sponsored by BP.

    		    <title>Cyclists Take to the Streets to Find Cure for Multiple Sclerosis</title>

    			    <p>In an effort to create a world free of multiple sclerosis, the 26th Annual Bike MS: Tour de Beach cycling fundraising event is currently seeking volunteers to manage rest stops.  Scheduled to take place on September 24 and 25 at new host site, the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orange Beach, proceeds from this two-day cycling fundraising event will benefit the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. 
	Volunteers are needed to host rest stops for more than 200 cyclists, which are stationed every 10 to 15 miles along a pre-determined route.  The NMSS provides all supplies for each rest stop, however, volunteers are needed to organize supplies, prepare beverages, make sandwiches, and decorate.
