The City of Gulf Shores will celebrate the Fourth of July with a stunning fireworks display, beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. The show will be shot from the Gulf Shores Public Beach and will feature a variety of specialty shell fireworks.
“We couldn’t be happier about the opportunity to bring the fireworks show back to our public beach,” said Programs and Events Manager, Brigette Reynolds. “This is where the Fourth of July fireworks show originally started in Gulf Shores and we look forward to continuing that tradition into the future.”
The actual location of the shoot will be near the water, due south of the West 2nd Street beach access point leaving the main public beach area as an ideal location for spectators.
“The main public beach area will provide spectators with an incredible, front row seat,” said Reynolds. “There will be an appropriate safety perimeter setup around the location of the shoot, but we encourage everyone to come down to the main public beach area to view the show.”
Sunny 105.7 FM will be broadcasting a patriotic musical element that will coincide with the show.
