Every October, over 300,000 people come to the Alabama Gulf Coast for the Annual National Shrimp Festival. Admission is free to enjoy hundreds of food and craft vendors, a Children's Village, Sandcastle Contests, and more (see www.NationalShrimpFestival.com).

year's festival takes place October 7th through October 10th, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be live music every day performed on two stages. Music performances start at 10 a.m. and feature popular bands the entire family will enjoy:
