Don't Miss Out on a Piece of Musical History

Bluegrass is maybe the first truly American musical style and when you hear it down here, we kick up the heat with a lively swinging beat. So it would be a shame to come down to the beach and miss out on Bluegrass Tuesdays. Presented by local legends

Delta Reign, this Bluegrass showcase takes place every Tuesday evening through March at Johnny's Lakeside Opry House on Highway 59 in Foley. Brian Kelly of the Pensacola News Journal described Bluegrass Tuesdays as “truly one of the best kept secrets musical secrets in Baldwin County.”Delta Reign consists of the husband and wife team of music veterans Pat and Benita Murphy who have traveled the country pickin' and grinnin' before forming their own band and settling on the Gulf. Benita does most of the writing and vocals in addition to playing rhythm guitar. Pat plays banjo and dobro. They describe their music as family style harmony. They are joined by George Mason on fiddle and Joshua Faul on bass.
