It won't be long now. There's nothing like ringing in the New Year and then making plans for the Gulf Coast's Mardi Gras celebrations. Gulf Shores & Orange Beach will soon be alive with carnivale, a season of merriment that culminates culminates on

Fat Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Kings, queens and their courts will soon gather to shower their subjects with doubloons, beads and moon pies on parade routes and parties. Enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere and a coastal Mardi Gras with us in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.

 Lulu's Krewe De Lu Roux Mardi Gras Ball

Kick off the Mardi Gras season in Lulu fashion. Dance to the tunes of Glen David Andrews and enjoy a buffet and open bar. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Limited tickets are available. This is a 21 and over party.

Mystical Order of Mirams Parade

Feb. 8, 6:30 p.m.

The parade begins in Orange Beach at Wintzell's, 24131 Perdido Beach Blvd.

Mystics of Pleasure Parade

Feb. 9, 5:30 p.m.

The parade begins in Orange Beach at Wintzell's, 24131 Perdido Beach Blvd.

Gulf Shores Parade

Feb. 12, 10 a.m.

The parade begins at the bottom of the Intracoastal Canal Bridge and ends at the main public beach area in Gulf Shores.

Orange Beach Parade

Feb. 12, 2 p.m.

The parade begins in Orange Beach at Wintzell's, 24131 Perdido Beach Blvd., and ends at Highway 161.

Lulu's 9th Anniversary Celebration and Mardi Gras Boat Parade

Feb. 12, 3 p.m.

The boat parade begins at The Wharf and ends at Lulu's.
