Beach volleyball is taking Gulf Shores by storm May 4-6! Dozens of the country’s top collegiate beach volleyball student-athletes and thousands of fans will converge on the main public beach in Gulf Shores to battle it out for a lifetime of bragging rights and to cheer on their favorite players at the 2018 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship.
The stage has been set, and while you can watch the competition on television, nothing compares to a courtside seat where you can feel the intensity of the players and the heat of the game. Tickets are now on sale starting at just $45 per person for general admission. Courtside seating is $75 per ticket and is based on first-come, first-served availability. Fans 2 years old and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.
The 2018 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship features 69 schools and has an eight-team bracket, with the championship played in a double-elimination format with teams of five pairs. What to Bring or Not to Bring
- Small backpacks are permitted, but subject to search.
- Beach towels are permitted, but no chairs, tents, hammocks or umbrellas.
- Outside food and beverage is not allowed. Food and drinks will be available for sale onsite.
- Coolers and glass are not permitted.
- No drones, video cameras or professional photo equipment is allowed.
