TimberCreek Golf Club

DESCRIPTION

Earl Stone created this beauty in 1993 and it features three nine-hole layouts, the Magnolia, Pines and Dogwood, giving golfers the option of mixing up their rounds each time they play there. Spectacular vistas complement the spacious fairways and wonderfully manicured playing surfaces on all three courses.

As you can guess from the course names, this golfing hotspot was sculpted from a forest of flowering Magnolias, Dogwoods and Loblolly pines. Each of the nines measure over 3,500 yards from the Gold (back) tees, but there are five sets of tees on each hole to accommodate all skill levels, including a green tee for seniors.

Among the challenges at TimberCreek are those created by the wetlands of D’Olive Creek that make their way through the property. Not only do those accentuate the natural beauty of the area, but they also make golfers think as they face those strategic challenges.

The Magnolia/Dogwood combination measures 7,062 yards from the back tees and has a slope of 141 and a 74.8 rating. A full-service restaurant and first-class practice facility help make a day at TimberCreek a great one. It’s located just a quarter-mile north of I-10 in Daphne.
