2019 Welcome Center Lecture Series: Feedsacks-Their Role in WWI and WWII

Join us on Monday, January 14 at 2pm as Coletta Bailey from Baldwin County Heritage Museum discusses the necessity of sewing with the cotton bag during the war years and how feed sacks saved a starving nation. There will be examples of wartime feed sack prints including Percy Kent's "Three Bad Eggs", "Morse Code Print" and clothes from this era.
