2024 The Good Life Ride

The Good Life Ride is a family-friendly and fully supported ride to benefit cyclist and pedestrian safety awareness campaigns in south Alabama. All routes start at Lake Shelby playground area at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores. This ride is all about the fun of riding! So grab your helmet and your bike and join the action.

In 2024, Good Life Ride is offering four options to take in a relaxing, scenic bicycle ride through the beautiful backcountry trail system: Saturday, May 4; Tuesday, May 7; Thursday, May 9; Saturday, May 11. Each day, cyclists will gather at 8:30 a.m. in parking lot to the east of the Lake Shelby playground (20110 AL-135, Gulf Shores, AL 36542), and the ride will begin at 9 a.m. after a safety briefing.

The event organizers are partnering with The Lodge at Gulf State Park for this event. Lake Shelby is directly across the street from the hotel.
