Stay in shape while you shop! Join Tanger's Fitness Club beginning January 1st 2010, sponsored by South Baldwin Regional Medical Center's Senior Circle. These Club members check into the office and walk at Tanger Outlet Center and are rewarded with Tanger gift cards for achieving incremental levels (based on hours logged). Meetings are held at Tanger several times yearly with guest speakers addressing timely topics relating to health and wellness.

The City of Orange Beach is offering guided eco-tours along the nationally recognized Hugh Branyon Backcountry Trail. During the 2-hour golf cart tour, individuals learn about the the area’s pristine woodlands and natural habitats.

Class begins on Wednesday, February 10th and meets from 12:30pm to 3:00pm for six weeks. With a series of drawing exercises you will be amazed a how quickly and easily you will learn to draw. Once this skill is learned drawing will become automatic, like driving a car. Students are thrilled with the progress they make and once learned students see everything differently with increased perception and appreciation of the visual world.

As long as you are at Papa Rocco’s when the bagpipes sound from at least four members of the International Champion Windsor Canadian Police Bagpipe Band (around 9 a.m.) on March 17, you get credit for participating. Papa's bagpipers, pub crawl, music from Bill & Colleen during the day and Paul Ewing in the evening, corned beef & cabbage and so much more! Parade stops usually include Mudbugs, the Gulf Shores Steamer, Desoto’s, The Hangout, Hooters, Gulf Island Grille, El Toro and Mikee’s. The parade usually ends around 2 p.m. But the St. Patrick’s Day revelry continues all day long at just about every Pleasure Island business that owns a liquor license.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Over 200 exhibitors from throughout the nation will bring their best works to show and sell at this prestigious juried show. Live entertainment will be going on throughout the three-day event and unique cuisine will be served up in the food court. It all takes place on the streets of beautiful downtown Fairhope, Alabama. BRATS will offer a shuttle service from the Plantation Pointe Shopping Center, Eastern Shore Village Shopping Center and Ecor Rouge Place. All of the parking is free and the locations are less than a five-minute ride away. The shuttle ride costs only $1.

Individuals, businesses, civic clubs, and restaurants, are all invited to participate. Entertainment includes: 10 a.m. to 12 noon - John Brust; 12 noon to 2 p.m. - Krissta Allen (Z Bob); 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Geezer; 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Soul Monkey.
