Kiva Grand is a Beautiful Beachfront Custom Family Home on a 2 acre gulf front Kiva Dunes lot. 2023 renovation includes a new kitchen, new master bath, conversion of a bath to be more grandparent and handicap friendly, conversion of a half bath to a 9th full bath, and addition of an upstairs bunk room. We think you are going to love the changes! Although the views and surroundings are indeed quite grand, it was built with family gatherings in mind with comforts like a really big kitchen, a huge pool level family room with a 2nd kitchen, a 20'x40' beachfront pool and a hot tub for enjoying the outdoors even when it is a bit cooler outside. The Best of Gulf and Golf! Kiva Grand is located at the acclaimed Kiva Dunes Golf & Beach Resort (Guests do not have access to the Beach Club at Kiva Dunes). Seven Spacious Bedrooms, each with Private Bath and TV, plus two bunk rooms. Large open kitchen with 2 islands, room for lots of cooks and for everyone to eat in the same space. Large covered porches on all three levels of the house. And of course the fabulous sugar-white beach that lies beyond the 8,700+ of heated and cooled space! On the main floor you'll find an expansive open living area that includes a main seating area, a fireside sitting room, space for everyone to dine together, a kitchen with an over sized refrigerator, two islands for cooking and serving, two dishwashers, and room for plenty of cooks. You'll have all of the dishes and serving pieces you need to live graciously during your stay. There is also a family room with a 73" television, a half bath, and a king bedroom with a handicap friendly private bath with roll-in shower (bath is not fully ADA compliant). You will also find a full bath on this level, a bunk room with its charming nautical decor. The upstairs features six bedrooms (3 of them beachfront Kings), each with a private bath, plus a bunkroom, and the smaller of the two laundries. The spacious Beach front King Master Bedroom opens to both a private and a shared porch. It has a newly remodeled master bath with soaking tub, large shower and a double vanity. A second and third beach front King Bedrooms open to the broad shared terrace. The westernmost of these rooms also has a twin daybed and a twin trundle. There is a bedroom with a pair of queen beds, a bedroom with one queen bed, and another bedroom with a pair of double beds. For 2023 we have a new upstairs hall bunk room that sleeps 2 in XL twins. Below the main floor, at the same level as the pool, there is a recreation room complete with another large television and lots of seating, and a second full kitchen and smaller informal dining area. You'll also find a full bath (convenient to the pool) and the larger of the two laundries. This level also opens to the garage where you will have 3 covered parking spaces. This family-friendly space has multiple French doors that open to the covered porches on the east and north sides of the pool area. It is rare to find a pool area that offers spacious areas for both sun and shade but Kiva Grand has it! You can reach all three levels of the house by both front and back stairs, as well as the elevator which is wonderful for grandparents, groceries and luggage. Outside you'll enjoy the huge pool, the hot tub, outdoor dining both on the main level porch and the pool level, charcoal grill, lots of lounge chairs and seating, and a dune walkover that leads to a gorgeous stretch of quiet beach. Enjoy the feeling of being away from it all, then pop over to the Kiva Dunes Lodge for lunch, visit The Beach Club Resort and Spa for dinner or for a massage, located at 925 Beach Club Trail. Given the large private beachfront pool and hot tub at Kiva Grand, we are not members of the Kiva Dunes Beach Club which was built to offer those not staying at beachfront homes an opportunity to relax by a beachfront pool. You'll have your own! We are not able to rent to groups under the age of 25, or for bachelor or bachelorette parties.
