UPDATE. Homeowners association voted to heat the community pool so... the community pool IS heatable for future stays, generally from November through April. Subject to HOA maintenance and continuation of the service (ie. out of my control!), but no charge for it either (at least to you!).

Easy beach access across street, less than 2 minutes to a crosswalk with a light! Cross at the Stop Light right outside! Awesome, affordable. Location. Location. Location! Community pool (15'x34') right out front! This pool will be HEATED November to April. No charge for this service. Heating is an amenity and not guaranteed.

LOCATION!
Walkable to Sea N Suds (6 min!), Island Market is 6 minutes too, even Hangout is only .9 miles away, so much more! Easy beach access, less than a minute away, at 4th Street, where there is a public beach, so NO cutting through private property. Soon: a second beach access right across the street!
POOL? You bet, the community pool (15'x34') for East 11 Cottages is right outside your door! Watch the kiddos from your expansive front balcony, or on one of the community provided pool lounge chairs around the pool!

BEACH ACCESS
Beach access could not be easier! The East 4th Street public beach is kitty corner across the street. How do you get there? Walk out the door, go to to the stop light in front of the property, push button, and cross the street! No crossing random places or getting yelled at for short cutting through private property!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 4 cars per side (2 under the side, 2 in front of the side).
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally rock solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!
Since we have a higher proportion of guests recently who are new to vacation homes, I wanted to mention a few things that may be new to guests who normally stay in hotels or resorts rather than a private home so they are not surprised. As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels, toys, or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, except where specifically noted, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
