Swimming in the Gulf of Mexico differs greatly from pool swimming. Guests are urged to respect the water's strength and protect local marine life. Riptides are a concern, so please stay vigilant about water conditions. Check tide and weather updates before entering the Gulf. **Protecting Wildlife and Preserving Nature**
Our vacation rentals are near nature preserves, home to diverse wildlife. Please watch your step and avoid disturbing creatures like snakes, rabbits, coyotes, and more. Leave beach equipment off the shore overnight to protect nesting sea turtles, especially during their May to October nesting season. It's crucial to respect sea turtles, as disturbing them or their nests is a federal offense. Avoid leaving beach gear or bright lights on the beach overnight, as they disorient baby turtles. Help preserve our endangered species. For recycling on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, guests must take items to the firehouse by Sassy Bass Market. The facility accepts aluminum, cardboard, and plastic; glass is not accepted.
**Beach Equipment**
At Beats Working, we don't provide beach gear like chairs or umbrellas at our beach homes. However, we do offer beach towels, and we can connect you with trusted rental companies for all your beach needs. Check your check-in message for details.
