World Sea Turtle Day

Join Gulf State Park for an early World Sea Turtle Day celebration!

We’ll have hands-on activities and classes scheduled throughout the day. Most programs and activities require registration.

9:00 – 9:30 am: Sea Turtle Rescue Demonstration -  Location: Salt Water Fishing Pier (20800 East Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores)

10:00 – 11:00 am: Sea Turtle Nesting with Share the Beach -  Location: Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion (22250 East Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores)

10:30 – 11:00 am: Sea Turtle Rescue Demonstration -   Location: Salt Water Fishing Pier (20800 East Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores)

11:30 – 12:30 am: Discovering Gulf Sea Turtles -  Location: Nature Center  (22120 Campground Road, Gulf Shores -There is a $5 per-vehicle fee to enter the campground where the Nature Center is located. Campground guests are exempt from the gate fee.)

12:00 – 1:00 pm:  Sea Turtle Nesting with Share the Beach -  Location: Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion (22250 East Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores)

1:30 – 2:30 pm: Alabama Sea Turtles Fossil Discovery -  Location: Conservation Hall, Learning Campus at Gulf State Park (20249A State Park Rd, Gulf Shores)

2:30 – 3:30 pm: Little Park Pals: Discovering Sea Turtles -  Location: Nature Center (22120 Campground Road, Gulf Shores- There is a $5 per-vehicle fee to enter the campground where the Nature Center is located. Campground guests are exempt from the gate fee.)
