Seine Net Experience

Join us anytime between 9:00 am and 11:00 am at the Lake Shelby Picnic Area. Together, we’ll drag a seine net through the shallow waters of one of our brackish lakes and discover the unique creatures that call it home!

You’ll also learn how to identify the critters we find and explore the differences between freshwater lakes and the Gulf.

Be sure to wear shoes that can get wet! (Weather dependent). 

Turn in where you see the signs for the dog park and visitor center. We will be across the street from the playground.
