second wind at martinique

This was our fourth year renting with Sunset Properties. The property in Martinique on the Gulf is a perfect setting for our lifestyle. Long walks through the complex to the beach and/or pools, rides in property's dedicated golf cart, and the friendly people who own or rent there are just some of the pluses. Of course there are restaurants galore, such as Jesse's on the Bay (just down the road), or some of our favorites in Gulf Shores are The Beach House Bahama Bob's. Or visit GT's on the Bay or Barometers in Orange Beach. Also, one can't miss with Tin Top in Bon Secour. Yes, we did cook in! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. The house was very clean upon arrival. Our only suggestion is replacement of the carpet, especially in the master bedroom. The property management team texted to check on us in a timely manner. We have already booked for our favorite time next year!

The rental was very nice and a joy to stay in. Love that it was pet friendly. The only suggestion I would make is to do away with all the carpet. Would stay there again.

PLACE WAS NICE AND CLEAN. LOVED GOLF CART ,MADE EASIER TO GET AROUND TO BEACH AND POOL.

Booked this for a quick family getaway... it was perfect. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer!!

This was one of the best trips with our family ! Perfect amount of room had plenty of space for our family of 8 . It’s literally the best community everyone is so friendly! The perfect amount of exclusion from the crowds that floods gulf shores . Perfect beach experience the beach was easy to access with the golf cart ! Can’t forget the 2 great pools ! And if you and your family love hunting for shells it’s the best place to do so ,some of the biggest shells we have ever seen at a beach ! If you’re looking for a place to have that real beach life experience without the crowds this is perfect! We will definitely be booking soon again and along with many other beach trips to come ! Thank you for sharing this gem with us! So excited to come back soon !! We hated to leave that we actually added another night to our stay and they were so accommodating with that !

Second Wind at Martinique is a wonderful place to vacation. Sunset Properties provided excellent customer service. They replaced the outdoor grill with a new one and made certain the golf cart was repaired so we could use it. Second wind is a spacious property with three bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. Although there were only two of us in the house during the stay, the house certainly will be very comfortable for a family(ies). We love staying at Martinique; there are restaurants nearby such as a Tacky Jack's, Jesses' on the Bay, and Kiva Grill. As one enters Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, there are many choices. Just to hang out and enjoy the half priced appetizers, we made several trips to Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails. For us older folks, it was worth the trip to downtown Foley to enjoy the fantastic food at The Magnolia House (serving lunch and dinner). Check them out on Facebook. Their menu changes daily). I would highly recommend Second Wind and Sunset Properties. We've already booked for next season!
