Stapleton Bluegrass Festival

Join us for the 2026 Stapleton Bluegrass Festival—Stapleton School’s largest and most important annual fundraiser and one of the Gulf Coast’s premier celebrations of live Bluegrass music!

This treasured community tradition began more than 40 years ago and was revived by Stapleton School in 2018 to honor our area’s heritage, celebrate the fine arts, introduce new generations to this important American musical genre, and raise funds to support our school and students.

This year’s outstanding lineup features:

• Amanda Cook Band — A nationally acclaimed group blending traditional Bluegrass roots with a fresh, contemporary sound. The band has appeared at the Grand Ole Opry, The Station Inn, and IBMA World of Bluegrass, while Amanda Cook’s recordings have reached the top of the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart.
• Remedy Tree — Nominated for the 2026 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year Award, this rising Florida-based Americana band combines Bluegrass, old-time, and folk traditions into music that feels both timeless and new.
• Three on a String — An Alabama musical institution offering exceptional acoustic music, tight harmonies, and good-natured comedy. The group has entertained audiences for more than five decades and is a member of both the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
• The Old Mixed Tapes — A high-energy Alabama group featuring traditional Bluegrass, Bluegrass gospel, driving instrumentals, heartfelt vocals, and tight three-part harmonies.
• Cowgirl Up Collective — An engaging blend of traditional Bluegrass, Bluegrass gospel, original music, audience favorites, strong instrumentation, and heartfelt harmonies.
• The Bailiwicks — A Mobile-area Americana folk band offering its own Gulf Coast sound called “Baygrass”—Bluegrass instrumentation mixed with laid-back grooves, claw-hammer stompers, and take-you-to-church harmonies.
