Join us on Wednesday, 10/14/2026, for our 3rd annual National Fossil Day event at the Learning Campus! Step back in time with us for a day of celebration!
Discover Alabama’s incredible fossil history, learn about exciting paleontological discoveries, and explore what fossils can tell us about our region’s past.
Also, don’t miss out on the chance to channel your inner paleontologist with a hands-on DIY fossil excavation, and bring your own fossils for a chance to have a paleontologist identify them!
