Are you a sports-event planner? Once you’ve selected the Alabama Gulf Coast as your winning destination, the next item on your to-do list should be securing a facility for your upcoming tournament or championship. When you swing down to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, our sports staff will take you on site tours that will help you choose which venues will best suit the teams, fans and families.

Gulf Shores Facilities
This community features the Gulf Shores Sportsplex, which includes collegiate championship track and field facilities, a collegiate championship-level softball 5-plex with press box, a high school baseball field, a high school football field, and college-level baseball and soccer fields. Even the brilliant beaches are available to get in on the action when it comes to volleyball and handball championships. Other venues in the area host yet more events, including tennis tournaments at the George C. Meyer Tennis Center.

Orange Beach Facilities
Within the city of Orange Beach, you’ll find numerous options. The Orange Beach Sportsplex boasts a collegiate-level soccer field that’s fit for events such as the SEC Women’s Soccer Championship. It includes a press box and spectator seating for more than 2000. This venue also includes numerous baseball and softball fields as well as practice soccer fields. Many tennis and swimming competitions are also held at local facilities, including the Orange Beach Aquatics Center and the Orange Beach Tennis Center.
