Beach Days Sooner with Allegiant Air

All nonstop flights are less than three hours and land at Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF), just three miles from the beach. There’s so much you can do with all the time you’ll save! From the airport, guests can call shuttles, taxis, or ride-share services like Lyft or Uber to take them to their accommodation. We suggest arranging transportation in advance to secure a ride. If you prefer to have a vehicle for your entire trip, book a rental car so you can easily get around the destination.

Flight Schedule

Allegiant Air connects travelers from eight cities across the U.S. to Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF) with nonstop, roundtrip flights. Cincinnati (CVG) and St. Louis/Belleville (BLV) offer year-round flights, while the other airports are offering seasonal flights operating through August, like Knoxville (TYS), Houston (HOU), and Kansas City (MCI). Fayetteville/Bentonville (XNA) will offer nonstop flights through Thanksgiving. Des Moines (DSM) and Appleton/Green Bay (ATW) will start in October and run until February 2026, which is the perfect time for fall break and winter. The Spring 2026 schedule will be announced at the end of summer, so be sure to check back for updats. These routes provide frequent and convenient options for planning your beach getaway. Airport Drop Off & Pick Up

If you plan to be picked up or dropped off at the airport, please inform your driver of the correct terminal location. The passenger terminal is located at 1155 Commerce Dr., Gulf Shores, AL. There are signs leading up to the terminal to guide passengers to the entrance. Those being dropped off or picked up can load and unload in front of the terminal entrance or use the short-term lot. If you plan to leave your car for the duration of your trip, use the long-term parking lot to the east. Parking is $10 per day.

Please note that the passenger terminal is separate from the airport headquarters. Allegiant flight passengers cannot park, be dropped off, or be picked up at the headquarters.

Directions from Highway 59 (Gulf Shores Parkway):

Turn off Highway 59 onto E. 29th Ave.
Take the first right at the roundabout onto E. 2nd St.
Then, turn left onto Waterway E. Blvd.
Continue on Waterway E. until you reach Commerce Dr.
Turn left onto Commerce Dr. and follow the signs to the terminal.

Before you fly, download the Allegiant app for a paperless mobile boarding pass. With the app, you’ll be able to check in to your flight 24 hours in advance, view your seats, and pre-check bags.

Baggage

Passengers are allowed one free personal item on all flights and can purchase additional carry-on bags. To save time, you can also pre-purchase checked bags up to 50 pounds, so all you must do is check them in when you arrive at the airport.

Transportation

Once you arrive, you can easily get to your accommodation with a Lyft or Uber. If you prefer to have a vehicle for the duration of your stay, you can rent a car from Enterprise or Alamo, which you can reserve at baggage claim. We suggest reserving a car in advance to ensure you secure a rental that meets your needs.

Extra Time Ideas

You’ve packed and checked out of your accommodations, and now, you’re left with several hours before your flight back home. Yes, Allegiant welcomes domestic dogs and cats to travel with you in the cabin for a fee. A pet carrier counts towards your maximum of two items allowed on the aircraft.
