Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club

Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission

The Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club provides a unique golf experience. Three nine-hole courses – Marsh, Lakes and Cypress – are distinct and create different challenges each time a golfer plays. Each nine plays to a par of 36. The combination of the two courses making up the 18 are determined daily. The club is located on Mobile Bay bordered by the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. The Earl Stone design takes golfers through live oaks, cypress, natural vegetation, more than 30 lakes and big white-sand bunkers.

The Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club has been given 4½ stars by Golf Digest and has been referred to as one of the most “memorable and enjoyable” courses in the Southeast. The Honours Golf facility offers chilled apples on the first tee and iced towels on hot days. The remodeled clubhouse has a restaurant and bar. Also available are an 8,000-square-foot fitness center, eight tennis courts and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
