Festival Canceled
The Annual National Shrimp Festival has been canceled due to Tropical Storm Isaias.
Event organizers made every effort to move forward with the festival this year. However, due to the forecast of high winds, heavy surf, and rain throughout the weekend, the safety of our visitors, vendors, volunteers, and staff must remain our top priority.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we make this difficult decision.

Location: 101 Gulf Shores Pkwy, Gulf Shores, AL 36542 (Intersection of Hwy. 59 & East Beach Blvd.)

This four-day event is a foodie’s dream, featuring 50+ local and regional vendors serving everything from crab cakes and conch fritters to lobster rolls, Cajun pistols, and, of course, fresh Gulf shrimp prepared every way imaginable; boiled, fried, steamed, and more. But the festival isn’t just about shrimp! Stroll through arts and crafts booths, enjoy live entertainment on multiple stages, and soak up the vibrant coastal atmosphere with family and friends.
Festival Hours:
Thursday–Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
