
Three Scrumptious Beach Pizza Recipes

Pizza is a great, quick-meal fix for hungry households. Chef Brian Navarro’s pizzas at GTs on the Bay in Orange Beach are known for their fresh ingredients generously sprinkled over house-made pizza dough and baked in an authentic pizza oven.
If you can’t make a Friday-night drive to this Orange Beach restaurant, don’t fret. Chef Brian is dishing up his most popular pizza recipes for you to prepare at home. He has simplified his recipes to include store-bought pizza dough so you can sink your teeth into delish beach eats without the extra dough-making time.
Oinker Pizza at GTs on the Bay in Orange Beach
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 oz barbecue sauce
- 4 oz pulled smoked pork
- 2 oz bacon bits
- 2 oz Julianne red onion
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation & Cooking Directions for Oinker Pizza
- Roll out the pizza dough and spread the barbecue sauce evenly on top.
- Sprinkle ¾ of the mozzarella cheese evenly
- Arrange toppings evenly (pork, onion and bacon)
- Evenly coat with cheddar cheese and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on pizza
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Shrimp Alfredo Pizza
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 oz roasted garlic alfredo sauce
- 4 oz blanched 70/90 shrimp
- 2 oz fresh spinach
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
Preparation & Cooking Directions for Shrimp Alfredo Pizza
- Spread alfredo evenly on the pizza dough.
- Add an even layer of spinach.
- Spread ¾ cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of pizza.
- Arrange shrimp evenly.
- Add the remaining mozzarella and grated parmesan.
- Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Pesto Chicken Pizza
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 oz pesto sauce
- 6 oz diced grilled chicken
- 2 oz roasted sliced mushrooms
- 3 oz artichoke hearts
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz fresh small mozzarella balls
Preparation & Cooking Directions Pesto Chicken Pizza
- Spread pesto evenly on the dough.
- Spread shredded mozzarella on the dough.
- Arrange toppings evenly (chicken, mushrooms, artichokes, and fresh mozzarella).
- Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes.
