Designed by Earl Stone, the 27-hole course offers more than 7,000 yards of play. Peninsula's three, nine-hole courses include Marsh, Lakes and Cypress.
Nature lovers enjoy the courses' quiet and secluded setting. Located next to the 800-acre Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, the area is filled with live oaks, cypress trees and local wildlife.
PGA golf pros provide private and group golf instruction, and stay and play packages are available all year long.
How to Play the Hole The Marsh's hole number nine is a simple three shot par five, however it can be intimidating. According to the pros at Peninsula, “The object is to carry the two wetlands which will leave you with a short iron shot to the green. Favor the right side of the fairway with your second shot.”
