Lights of Dauphin Island

Join the Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce as we kick off the holiday season with one of the Island’s favorite traditions, The Lights of Dauphin Island!
Each year, businesses, organizations, churches, clubs, neighborhoods, families, and individuals come together to transform Water Tower Plaza into a festive display of decorated Christmas trees. Each tree is sponsored and decorated by members of our community, creating a holiday display that reflects the people, businesses, and organizations that make Dauphin Island special.
Whether you want to decorate a tree of your own or simply come enjoy the lights, everyone is invited to be part of the celebration.

Join us as we officially turn on the lights and reveal the 2026 display for the first time.
Enjoy an evening of Christmas lights, holiday music, hot chocolate, cookies, and a visit from Santa as we celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season on Dauphin Island.

The lighting ceremony is weather permitting. Updates will be shared on social media if the weather requires changes to the event schedule.
