Discover Gulf Oak Ridge

Immerse yourself in the shady Southern charm of sprawling live oaks, draping Spanish moss, croaking frogs, and other coastal wildlife along one of our most popular trails, Gulf Oak Ridge. Accompany a park naturalist on a leisurely walk through this beautiful maritime forest as they share the park’s history and highlight the unique plants and animals found along the trail. This paved trail is approximately 2 miles round-trip. Please bring water, bug spray, and comfortable walking shoes.

Location: Gulf Oak Ridge Trailhead, Gulf Shores. Located at the end of Refuge Road.
