Gulf State Park features a new hike-in camp, the Outpost, located just off the Cotton Bayou Trail, part of the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail system. The raised, canvas-covered shelters have their own front porches and include cots. Just outside, you’ll find running water, fire pits, an outdoor shower and rustic bathrooms. The City of Orange Beach provides firewood.
At the Gulf State Park’s main campground you’ll find improved sites with full hookups, bathhouses, laundry facilities, a pool, tennis courts and a nature center.
Those traveling with an RV will have a resort-style experience at the many luxury RV parks in the area. Amenities include private casitas, pools, laundry facilities, clubhouses and more.
