When you go to the beach, walking barefoot in the sand is a given. Sand between the toes . . . ahhhh! But did you know there are lots of other places to explore on foot in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach? (Though I recommend shoes for most of them!)
There are plenty of restaurants in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach — many of them locally owned with lots of great food. Fresh seafood. Check. Locally sourced cuisine. Check. It’s all here. But, let’s be honest. Vacation is the time to indulge. Am I right?
Family-friendly Gulf Shores and Orange Beach might not be the first place you’d consider for a microbrewery business, but when a family with deep roots in the area makes a great brew, the whole thing makes sense.

When I think of the beach, my first thought is sand, sun and surf. And all the beaches deliver on that. Atlantic Coast beaches tend to offer gritty sand and gray-blue surf, while Gulf beaches provide powdery white sand and deep Caribbean-blue waters. (more…)
