Who We Are

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Tourism is the official destination marketing organization for Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan. Publicly, we operate as Visit Alabama’s Beaches. Our goal is not only to attract visitors to our beautiful area, but to do so in a thoughtful and impactful way that sustains and supports the local community throughout the year. Together, the people, businesses, and natural resources of Alabama’s Beaches are what make the destination so special, and without them, the area would not be what it is. We are proud of our community and are committed to continuing our efforts to uplift the locals who also call this remarkable place home.

Tourism's

Impact

Tourism supports everyone who lives on Alabama’s Beaches, not just those who work in restaurants, accommodations, and other tourism-related jobs. We asked real locals within the community how tourism has positively impacted their work, lives, and neighborhoods.

Local Businesses

Local Businesses

Tourism is the livelihood of many local businesses, which are vital to our community. The vitality of small businesses is not only crucial for tourism, but also for the families who own and operate them, as well as the locals who depend on them. From restaurants and stores to fishing charters, golf courses, and rental services, the continuous growth and support for these businesses is central to the well-being of our community.

Non-Profits

Non-Profits

Our businesses recognize the importance of non-profits, charities, and other free resources for those in need. Several of our local businesses donate both time and money to essential groups such as United Way, Art for Heart, and The Christian Service Center. Many people in our area rely on these organizations to meet their families' basic needs, and support from the community is essential to their livelihoods. As an organization, Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism volunteers over 200 hours a year to support nearby non-profits, helping our locals and maintaining our natural resources.
