Abstract Painting with Jakob Dwight

This class is open to beginners, intermediate painters and those who may be more advanced – explore pushing the boundaries of abstract painting with Jakob Dwight in this 8-week session.

Students will be broken up into two focus groups. For returning painting students a focus on exploring a few more techniques with a heavier emphasis on Independent Study with Individual Instruction.

New painters can expect to review basics that lead into an Independent Study, developing their own themes, styles, lexicon and motifs.
Emphasis on 1) building a coherent body of work 8-12 small pieces for returning students, 5-7 small pieces for new students and
2) individual presentation and group critique. Whether you’ve painted before or are looking to take that first step, this class is sure to boost your creativity and expression.
