Art in Motion: Summer Educator Professional Development

Let’s get Alabama’s kids moving, creating, and thriving through the arts! Did you know that many public schools in our state lack arts programming, with dance being one of the least likely art forms represented? Art in Motion is here to change that!

This innovative program aligns Alabama’s dance courses of study with the state’s physical education content standards, bringing dance and creative movement directly into elementary P.E. classes.

Join Kerri-Noelle Humphrey, Executive Director of the Alabama Dance Council and creator of the Art in Motion dance curriculum, for a dynamic workshop exploring how we can expand arts access and enrich learning for Alabama’s youngest students.
