Ax Making Experience

Make Your Own Axe!!! Create a Vacation Memory That Lasts a Lifetime.

Looking for one of the most unique things to do near Gulf Shores and Orange Beach? Step into our air-conditioned blacksmith shop and create your own handcrafted axe during an unforgettable 3½–4 hour hands-on experience.

Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or looking for an unforgettable date or rainy-day activity, this is far more than a class—it's a chance to create something you'll proudly use, display, and remember for years to come.

What You'll Do
•         Work with a premium steel axe blank
•         Heat treat and harden the steel in a real forge
•         Select and install beautiful hardwood handle scales
•         Watch your axe come to life as you grind your axe and your instructor finishes with a few minutes of extra cleaning and sharpening!

No previous experience is necessary. We'll provide all tools, materials, safety equipment, and step-by-step instructions.
