SEPTEMBER 27 Lumen Printing with Micah Mermilliod | $40 Members / $55 Not-Yet Members
In this Lumen printing workshop, instructor Micah Mermilliod will lead participants in creating a number of Lumen print photographs. Lumen printing is a camera-less, alternative photographic technique in which organic materials are layered directly onto silver-gelatin photographic paper and then placed in direct sunlight.
This workshop will take place primarily outdoors, as no darkroom is needed to create these photographs! Rather than traditional developers, the sun does all of the developing, so after rinsing and fixing the images, participants will be left with unique, ethereal photographs!
Flowers, fruits, and other materials will be provided for printing, and participants are invited to bring their own materials to experiment with as well.
