Qigong Classes
From: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Guided instruction in the ancient Chinese healing practice of Qigong, an ancestor of Tai Chi. This exercise combines slow, low-impact, methodical movement with deep breathing and visualization. It is believed it helps in improving health by lowering stress, cholesterol, and blood pressure, assists in managing a variety of chronic conditions, and strengthens the immune system.
Optional group hike after class.
Our instructor, Annie Allen, is a certified Yoga/Qigong instructor who has been teaching people this practice
for over a dozen years. She teaches this technique for the Baldwin County High Football team and serves as a Business Education teacher for the school. She is also a Spanish Court interpreter.
