Eagles and Ecosystems Nature Walk

Lace up your walking shoes and join one of our Park Naturalists for a guided adventure along Eagle Loop! This 1-mile hike follows a mix of paved and boardwalk trails, beginning at the Lakeview Trailhead and leading to one of the park's oldest Bald Eagle nests.

Along the way, we'll stop at the beautiful Lake Shelby overlook as we explore the park's unique fire-dependent ecosystem. Discover how prescribed fire shapes the landscape, learn about the native plants and wildlife that call this area home, and keep an eye out for birds and other animals along the trail.

This program is great for all ages!
