Grab a coffee and pastry to go or sit down with a breakfast sandwich and a fresh start to your day.

Before you leave home, pack a few board games and card decks, favorite DVDs and microwave popcorn. These come in handy when the rain is falling. Check with your accommodations as some have game rooms and indoor pools that come in handy when it rains as well.

The great thing about rain along the coast? It doesn't usually last long, and the sand quickly dries for your next adventure.
