Sunset Series: September 3, 10, & 17
Throughout the month of September, the City of Gulf Shores is hosting its Sunset Series on September 3, 10, and 17 at Gulf Place. Locals and visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks to enjoy three nights of free local live music on the beach.
Bulls on the Beach: September 10-12
If you're looking for a heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping event, head over to Flora-Bama for their annual Bulls on the Beach from September 10-12. This bull riding event brings professional bull riders from all over the country to our area to compete at this rodeo. The fun starts every evening at 8 pm, and the gates open at 6 pm.
Brett/Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon: September 12
This September marks the 19th annual Brett/Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon. Hosted by Brett/Robinson Vacation Rentals, this triathlon occurs every year on the Saturday after Labor Day. On September 12, racers will compete on the beach starting at The Hangout. This race includes a swim in the Gulf, a flat bike ride, and a breezy run. Grab your running shoes, swimsuit, and bike, and join us on the racecourse.
Freedom Fest: September 19-20
Celebrate a red, white, and blue weekend at The Wharf. Orange Beach is hosting its Annual Freedom Fest on September 19-20. This two-day event includes Bama Coast Cruisin's fall car show, arts and crafts booths, food vendors, live music, and children's activities.
Jeep Fest: September 24-27
Cruise down to The Hangout in Gulf Shores for the inaugural Gulf of America Jeep Fest, a four-day celebration of all things Jeep from September 24-27. The festival fun includes a sound competition, a light competition, beach rides, games, live music, and much more. Dozens of local and national vendors will be on-site with Jeep gear, car accessories, apparel, food and drinks, and more merchandise.
Harvest Moon Festival at the Zoo: September 26
Explore the zoo after dark at the Harvest Moon Festival! This family-friendly fall event is the ultimate experience for animal lovers. The evening will include nocturnal animal activities, animal ambassador meet and greets, an interactive hay maze, bounce houses, a DJ Glow Party, and a s’mores station. Admission includes access to the entire Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo and a look at all the fascinating creatures that call it home.
