Shrimp Scampi at Ginny Lane Bar & Grill. Ginny Lane, located at The Wharf in Orange Beach, is known for fresh, coastal cuisine. Pull up a chair to Shrimp Scampi ordered from the lunch menu for $8. Feast on sautéed Gulf shrimp in a white wine, butter and garlic sauce with asparagus and tomatoes over linguini. With this budget, you even have room for a lunch martini. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., your first martini is just $1 and you have eight varieties to choose from.
In the mood for seafood in Gulf Shores? A stop at the Original Oyster House is in order. Treat yourself to a dish you won’t find anywhere else: The Butter Pecan House Catch weighs in at $11.95 and is topped with fresh-made Baldwin County pecan butter. No trip to Gulf Shores is complete without ordering up a fried shrimp po-boy, and Bahama Bob’s has one that’ll fit the spot. A stop at DeSoto’s Seafood Kitchen in Gulf Shores will yield daily lunch specials starting at only $6 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Fill up on Chicken Creole for $7.25. This dish is smothered in a spicy tomato and vegetable sauce and served on yellow rice with an additional side. Choose homestyle favorites like fried green tomatoes, green beans, turnip greens, sweet potato casserole, corn fritters and more. Finish your lunch off with one of DeSoto’s Beach Margaritas for $6.
King Neptune’s Seafood Restaurant is a favorite stop for many visitors. Lunch specials start at $4.95. Order up the Panko Encrusted Chicken Breast Parmesan and two sides for $5.95. Choose sides like fried okra, seasoned green beans, house-made coleslaw or even a tossed salad. Dessert comes with your entrée at no additional charge. Add a frozen daiquiri to your lunch for $7.
