Kick off your July summertime fun in the cities of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan. You will be shocked at all of the exciting activities and events lined up.
Things to do in July:
The 151st Army Detachment Band at Fort Morgan - July 2 from 10am-12pm. General admission to fort charged and performance will be inside the fort.
WWI Photo Gallery Living History Event at Fort Morgan - July 3 from 9am-3pm. Photo galleries to include domestic life, recreation, military training, medical and cavalry.
Independence Day Street Party and Fireworks at The Wharf - July 3 from 5pm-10pm. Activities begin at 5pm. Fireworks take place over Main Street at 8:45pm, SPECTRA Sound and Light Spectacular will follow the fireworks. Kids activities to include: bouncy houses, rock climbing wall, face painting, games, prizes and more!
Tuesday Evening Living History Tour at Fort Morgan - July 3 from 6pm-7pm. Historians and site staff, dressed in period uniform, will provide historical insights on various periods of Fort Morgan's history and the life of the people who worked and served there.
The City of Gulf Shores Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration - July 4 starting at 9pm at Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier. Free to the public.
2018 Blue Angels Practice Schedule - July 3, 5, 6, 11, 17, 18 and 24. Practices typically begin at 11:30am central time; 9am-10am on July 6 at National Museum of Naval Aviation. Free to the public. Practices may be canceled due to weather or other circumstances without notice. Please contact the museum to confirm details.
The 2018 Southern Grace Summer Lineup - July 12 and July 26 from 6:30pm-11pm at Fisher's at Orange Beach Marina. Tickets start at $150 per person. Seating is limited and tends to sell out fast.
C Spire Concert Series presents: Jason Aldean with Luke Combs & Lauren Alaina-July 26 from 8pm-11pm at The Amphitheater at The Wharf. Tickets starting at $125. Listen to and enjoy these country music stars when they perform in Orange Beach.
The Velcro Pygmies - July 27 and July 28. 9:30pm-1:30am at Live Bait. $10 ages 21+, $15 18-20 years old. This non-stop high energy show will deliver an eclectic blend of music ranging from 80s, country and R&B.
