Annual Alabama Seafood Cook-Off

Sweet Grown Alabama is proud to host the tenth annual seafood cook-off at The Wharf!

Four teams of chefs will prepare their best dish made with Alabama seafood and a locally grown product. The winner will represent Alabama in the National Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans, LA. Spectators are welcome to attend and watch these chefs hard at work, cheer on their favorites and learn about Alabama seafood and locally grown products. 

All tenants and patrons are welcome to come out and watch the live cooking competition.

The cookoff will begin at 6 p.m., followed by opening remarks. Each chef team will draw numbers to determine their cooking order, then begin cooking. Each team has 1 hour to prepare their meal. After, chefs, teams and judges are introduced as the scores are tallied. The top 2 chef teams are recognized, and awards are appropriately distributed.
