Currently based in North Carolina, Logans work is held in major collections, including the Smithsonian Institution, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This exhibition features powerful selections from his expansive Elegies seriesa body of over 200 works that navigate the intricacies of memory and the layered experiences of social mobility and cultural identity.
Without Stopping also marks the public debut of a major commissioned painting created specifically for the Mobile Museum of Arts permanent collection. This monumental piece is a tribute to the people of Africatown, reflecting Logans deep engagement with community histories and the enduring legacy of resilience.
