Battlefield Blitz 5K and Fun Run

Blakeley's annual “Battlefield Blitz 5K and Fun Run” is a fundraiser directly benefitting park programming and special projects. Held on the grounds of Alabama’s largest Civil War battlefield, the Blitz is a unique community event. Registration includes a race t-shirt! Prizes are awarded for Overall, Top Male and Female and several other age group categories.

 Dogs ARE NOT allowed in the 5K, but owners with pets on a leash may participate in the Fun Run. Online registration for the race day closes on January 30. In-person registration for Race Day closes at 7:30 a.m.
