Eagles and Ecosystems Nature Walk

Join one of our park naturalists for a guided hike on Eagle Loop. This hike will be about 1.6 miles total, with some sections on unpaved paths. The hike will start at Lakeview Trailhead and will end at the eagles nest. The hike will also stop at the Lake Shelby overlook. On this guided hike, we will discuss the fire-dependent ecosystem, plants, animals, and birds that we see along the way. Lastly, we discuss the incredible Bald Eagles while we view the eagles' nest, and hopefully, the eagles will make an appearance!
