Native Animal Meet & Greet at Lake Shelby

Stop by Lake Shelby Picnic Area between 1 pm and 2 pm to meet some of our native animals! Discover how these remarkable species help educate our visitors about conservation efforts at Gulf State Park. Learn about their natural behaviors and the important roles they play in our complex ecosystem. 

Turn where you see the signs for the dog park and visitor center. We will be set up across from the playground.
