Bon Voyage Excursions to the SS United States

These one-hour excursions will be our final trips to the historic SS United States, soon to leave the Port of Mobile and become an artificial reef off the Florida coast. Noted local author John Sledge, currently historian in residence at the National Maritime Museum, will introduce guests to this iconic landmark of our nation's maritime heritage, sharing stories about its designers, builders, passengers, and devoted enthusiasts. Along the way, we will get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get a close waterside view of the venerable ship, the fastest ocean liner to ever cross the Atlantic, and the largest passenger ship ever built entirely in this country. 

We WILL NOT be boarding the SS United States on this cruise.
