Firecracker Oysters Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 dozen oysters on the half shell OR 2 dozen shucked oysters
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 2/3 grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 grated Romano cheese
  • 24 slices of pickled jalapeños
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
Directions

For Shelled Oysters (Recommended) 

  1. Preheat the top broiler in the oven to 450° F. 
  2. Spread oysters onto a sheet pan, pizza pan, or other type of baking sheet. 
  3. Place one slice of jalapeño on each oyster. 
  4. Divide the alredo sauce evenly between oysters. (Depending on oyster size, you may have leftover sauce.) 
  5. Liberally divide the cheese and parsley among the oysters. 
  6. Place 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water into the bottom of the pan. 
  7. Place in the oven and broil for 4-5 minutes until the tops are light golden brown. 
  8. Carefully remove from the oven and place on a serving dish. 
  9. Garnish with lemon and enjoy! 

For Shucked Oysters 

  1. Preheat the top broiler in the oven to 450° F. 
  2. Using two 12-count muffin tins, line 24 muffin tin cups with foil muffin cups. 
  3. Place one oyster in each muffin cup.
  4. Place one jalapeño on each oyster.
  5. Divide the alredo sauce evenly between oysters. (Depending on oyster size, you may have leftover sauce.) 
  6. Liberally divide the cheese and parsley among the oysters. 
  7. Place in the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes until the tops are light golden brown. 
  8. Carefully remove from the oven and place on a serving dish. 
  9. Garnish with lemon and enjoy!
