Reel in a day of fun at the Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier. If you didn’t bring your rod, don’t worry. Rentals are available, and bait and tackle can be purchased, too. Spend a couple of hours there, and you may leave with a freshly caught dinner.

Coastal Half Marathon Gulf State Park

Runners from all over visit our area the Saturday after Thanksgiving to work off those calories from Thursday. The Coastal Half Marathon includes a half marathon and a 5K and 1-mile fun run at the Orange Beach Sportsplex and through Gulf State Park, so there’s a distance for everyone! Use this experience to celebrate togetherness and health with the ones you love and run, walk or wheel your way to finish together. 

With so much to see and do, you need to spend your holiday break at the beach! Get ready to dip your toes in the sand.
