Arrrr ya ready for a pirate adventure?
You’ll hear about local pirate lore and the history of the ship itself (It’s a Pinta replica.) And, as you gaze over the gunwales enjoying the breeze and spotting dolphins, the little ones are held rapt by all things pirate. The hearty captain and first mates will keep ‘em busy with pirate gear and tales of life at sea.
Take pictures as crew members fit the little swabbies with hats, draw mustaches and scars on their faces and ink tattoos on their arms. But don’t get too close. There’s water adventure aboard this vessel, too.
Pick up a water gun and join the battle and spray unsuspecting boats approaching the pirate ship. For more wet and wild fun, catch a water balloon from the first mate and give one of your merry mates a soaking.
And what’s a pirate adventure without a treasure hunt? The newly recruited marauders will use a map and model ship to find and claim their own gold.
All this adventure comes with a backdrop of cannons firing and rousing pirate songs. So, climb aboard with your young mateys for pirate fun. And be sure to check out other attractions on Alabama’s Gulf Coast for more adventure during your stay.
