Four Swoon-worthy Cocktails to Try in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach

When date night is on the calendar or it’s a night out with the girls, these four swoon-worthy cocktails are the perfect concoction to wet your whistle.

The Gulf’s Blackberry Mojito

Blackberry Mojito. Relax on a white lounger with views of Alabama Point as you sip The Gulf’s Blackberry Mojito. The blackberries may take you back to days picking berries along the fence row with your grandma. What’s sweeter than a drink inspired by blackberry picking? Sharing it with friends, of course!

Loaded Bloody Mary. Sunday brunch will never be the same. Bill’s By the Beach offers up the Loaded Bloody Mary, a cocktail that takes up to 20 minutes to prepare. Remember that saying, “good things come to those who wait?” Yep, it’s true. This cocktail is mixed with Absolut Peppar vodka, Con Julion Blanco tequila and Bloody Mary mix, then topped with a beef slider, gulf shrimp, smoked sausage, white cheddar, bacon, cherry tomatoes, olives, pickled okra, cocktail onions, spicy green beans and celery.

Fisher's Dockside in Orange Beach, AL

Saltwater Margarita. Just when you thought a margarita couldn’t get any better, along comes the Saltwater Margarita at Fisher’s Dockside. Mixed with Camarena tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh-squeezed lemon and lime juice, agave nectar, orange bitters and demerara syrup, this delish drink is topped with saltwater foam.

Coconut Mojito. You may think you’ve settled on a favorite mojito, but think again! You must try the Coconut Mojito at Bayes Southern Bar & Grill. Order one mixed with Cruzan white rum, Cruzan coconut rum, cream of coconut, brown sugar, mint leaves, lime and club soda. Views of the Intracoastal Waterway make this cocktail even better.
