Why You Should Make it a Goal to See November Soccer

SEC SoccerNovember is quickly approaching, and that means it’s almost time for a soccer-filled month on Alabama’s white-sand beaches. Teams, coaches and fans will be traveling to the champion-quality fields of the Orange Beach Sportsplex for some heated competition. You’ll score a goal if your beach getaway coincides with one or more of these exciting events.

Officially kicking off the month of soccer is the 2017 SEC Women’s Soccer Championship, which will start on Sunday, October 29. Ten female teams will be showcasing their fancy footwork throughout the week to follow, concluding with the crowning of the victor Youth SEC Soccerduring the final game. A live broadcast of the championship play is scheduled for Sunday, November 5, at 2 p.m. To cheer from the stands, adult tickets are $5 per game and children (K-12) are $2 per day. Fans will be given a double dose of action when SEC and youth soccer team up. The 2017 Alabama Soccer Festival is kicking its way to Orange Beach for November 4-5 play. This youth fest lets participating teams know how many games they will play. Teams will also be matched with other teams of similar abilities, creating a fun, competitive atmosphere. The goals will continue to be scored during the 2017 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship. Come check out the action as sixteen teams from across the country compete for the NAIA title.
